  4. Protozoan characteristics • Microscopic and unicellular • Most are aquatic • Classified by locomotion (movement)

  5. Sarcodina Phylum Amoeba: no body shape Move slowly with a pseudopodium Responds to stimuli Surrounds its food and engulfs it
