3. El diario El diario will take the place of the traditional warm-up. Everyday we will start off the class with a different task. The tasks will vary in length each day. I will pick them up the week before each six weeks ends, and they will be used as a major grade. You grade will be based on random check of specific dates. All dates must be written in Spanish.

4. Viernes Viernes is our testing day. If we are not able to test on viernes, we will test on lunes. Foreign Language Re-test policy Daily Grades- If you earn a failing grade on a daily assignment that is based on mastery as opposed to completion, you may sign up with your teacher to re-do the assignment. It must be re-done with the teacher in the classroom during the teachers assigned tutorial times. You must sign up and keep your appointment. You must attend the soonest tutorial session that the teacher has available. Late grade penalties still apply. No daily work can be re-done after the test has been taken. The highest possible grade that one can earn on an assignment that has been re-done is a 70%. Major Grades- If you earn a failing grade on a major test grade, you may sign up with your teacher to re-take the test on Wednesday before school, providing that you have attended a tutorial session in the library or with the French teacher. You must attend the soonest tutorial session in the library and take the test the Wednesday morning following that Monday night tutorial. You must sign up and keep your appointment. A re-take must be complete before the next major test is given. The highest possible grade that one can earn on a test that has been re-taken is a 70%. Test re-take times will change by six weeks. • Policy is subject to change Tutoring is by appointment only on Friday morning from 7:40-8:00

5. @Saville_Spanish I will be starting a twitter this year. It will be for students and parents to follow. I will post reminders, upcoming events, extra credit assignments, and other classroom relevent information. Any inappropriate use of social media by students will be reported to the security team.

6. Each week you will be allowed one yellow card. If you get two yellow cards in one week, that is a red card. A red card will include punishments of classroom removal, detention, copying of the dictionary, write-up, or a parent conference; however, it is not limited to these punishments. 7. La tarjetaamarilla • Tarjetaamarillas will be given for the following: • Minor classroom disruptions. • Being disrespectful to people or property • Eating, drinking, or using any electronic device • Not coming to class prepared to work. This includes not being ready to work on the diario at the beginning of class. • These are some of the reasons that you will receive unatarjetaamarilla; however, I reserve the right to give out a card to any behavior that is not conducive to a learning environment.

8. La tarjetaroja • Unatarjetaroja will be given for the following: • Major classroom disruptions • Harrasmentsor bullying of another student or teacher. This includeded subs. • These are some of the reasons that you will receive unatarjetaroja; however, I reserve the right to give out a card to any behavior that is not conducive to a learning environment.

9. SOLES Each sol is worth 1pt on a test. You can use up to 10 per test or quiz. If you have 20 soles, you can use them to replace a minor grade.
