  3. Today you will receive Westlaw password sheet Lexis ID card Handout describing the library’s online resources Handout about BNA many subject-specific databases Handout about RIA Checkpoint (tax) Primary tax law and commentary

  10. Enter 7-Digit Activation Code and click Next
  11. Enter Required InformationGraduation Information:LLM Program is 1 year, Term is Summer, year is 2012
  12. Create Your Own ID and Password
  13. Lexis Password Requirements Usernames: 8-25 characters; at least 1 letter Combination of numbers and letters, or symbols @ . _ or – NO: spaces, use of name “Lexis” Can include name of the user, but must add additional characters Passwords: 8-50 characters Must include one number and 1 letter Symbols allowed: @ . _ or – NO: spaces, use of name “Lexis,” offensive or common words, or Lexis activation code number Cannot be first or last name or combination of the two

  15. Lexis Training Classes Go to the My School tab on the Lexis homepage Look for upcoming training classes Contact Aaron Meyers for help.
  16. Register your Westlaw Password https://lawschool.westlaw.com Click on Register Password
  17. Register as a First Time Student
  18. Enter Your E-mail Address Your address will be linked to any TWEN courses you might have, so use a reliable address.
  19. Enter Your Westlaw Password Your password is listed on the sheet.
  20. Pick your Username & Password Notice the security instructions Keep your username and password in a safe place
  21. Westlaw OnePass Requirements Usernames and Passwords: Must be between eight and 16 characters in length and can be composed of any combination of letters, numerals, or characters
  22. Enter Your Contact Information Your phone number will be used when you call Westlaw for support. Be sure to remember it.
  23. Select Your Year, Graduation Date, & Review the Terms of Service Agreement If you ever need to change your graduation date, notify your Westlaw Account Manager
  24. Westlaw Training Classes Go to the Home page and look for the Training link. Look for upcoming training classes during first weeks of class. Contact Zach Gose if you need help.
