  5. They started complaining to Moses Didn’t like the food Impatient Wanted more Tired of waiting Complained about God

  6. Israelites were not content What did God provide for them?

  7. God decided to teach the Israelites a lesson!

  8. What did the people do? Sorry God for not being thankful. You were taking good care of us and we kept on complaining. Please Moses help us. Ask God to forgive us! We will repent.

  9. Moses prayed to God about the snakes How do you think the Lord answered Moses’ prayer? A - The Lord took away the poisonous snakes B - The Lord did not take away the poisonous snakes

Always look up to the Lord for help! • Make a snake out of a shiny • metal called “bronze” • Put the bronze snake on a • pole so all the people can • see it • Anyone bitten by a • poisonous snake that looks • at the bronze serpent will be • healed • This will help them remember • that I will take care of them

  11. People looked at the bronze serpent and were made well!

  12. What did the people learn? God takes care of His people 1 Only God could make them well 2 To be happy and content with the things the Lord gave them 3 Not to complain about the Lord’s gifts 4

  13. The Cross In Our lives Did you sin in the past? Did you just sin? Is the devil about to fight you? Hurry!!!Look at the cross and say: “My crucified Lord, have mercy on me”.

  14. The Cross In Our Lives What does the bonze serpent represent? • Jesus saved us on the cross • Whoever believes in Him is • saved from eternal death Cross = Sign of our salvation • We wear it to remind us of • God’s love for us • Crossing ourselves
