  2. Description Prevention Tips Mindful Compassion - Be mindfully present, patient, and kind. Take breaks to check in with yourself. Growth Mindset (vs. victim) - Choose to look for growth versus catastrophe. Look for opportunities in all situations, especially when they are stressful or negative. Listen and Take care of your mind and body - Mind your body’s signals, energy, and fuel. Remember everything you put in your body and mind can be a form of fuel (or not). Enhance social connection - Nourish relationships and seek trusted support. You are not alone. Management Tips Find meaning, passion, purpose, or thanks - Milking situations for meaning, including at work, seeking silver linings, savoring, and gratitude. Delegate, collaborate and ask for help - Lean on strengths and find out other people’s strengths and delegate/collaborate. Look at tasks and where spend most of your time. What do you need to do and what don’t you? Who can help? Unplug, set rituals, routines, and measurable goals - Set time to unplug and be completely “off”. Create rituals for morning and evening, where it is “me time”. Put information for “me time”, “off-time” and goals on a calendar and mark off what accomplish. Celebrate achievements and have fun - Celebrate your own achievements as well as others. Big or small. Reward with bonuses, dinners, certificates, public recognition, etc. About the Author Dr. Eva Selhub Dr. Eva Selhub is a resiliency expert, consultant, speaker, and author.
