  1. How to make a visual aid in MS Power Point First, click “new slide” here, and select “title slide”

  2. Type your name And the title of your presentation Add a picture if you like

  3. Now, click “new slide” here, and select the “title and content” slide

  4. Now, type the topic of your first survey question in the “title” area

  5. Next, click “Insert” and then “Chart” A new window will open, showing you all the visual aids you can choose from. You can choose any type you like – column, pie, or bar

  6. A new window will open. It is an Excel worksheet. You can change the information to make your own visual aid.

  7. If you want to delete some columns, click here Then right click and choose “delete”

  8. Add your data’s categories and percentages

  9. Look at the graph or chart that you made. In “Chart Tools,” try some different “Chart Layouts” to find one you like.

  10. Do you want to change to a different type of chart? In “Chart Tools/Design”, Click “Change Chart Type” and choose a different one.

  12. Make 1 new slide for each of your survey questions. 1 title slide + 3 question slides = 4 slides total

  13. Now, save your visual aid as a power point file. Give your file the name “CS2 ____ _____” Name family name And save

  14. Name in the subject line Finally, send your PowerPoint file to Christie (pcprov@mac.com) As a temp file attached to an e-mail message. Short message to Christie
