  1. TOOLS FROM THE RENASSAINCE PERIOD

  2. BLACKSMITH TOOLS Blacksmiths were very common in the renaissance period. They makes glass and other accessories with hammers and mallets. Including swords and other weapons.

  3. CUTTING TOOLS - Similar to our modern day tools. They had knives and saw. They were all hand tools.

  4. - The hammer was also a tools used. They used it for a variety of things. THE HAMMER

  5. POST DRILL - This is called the post drill. It is called that because its just a drill on a post. In the renaissance period this was commonly used for woodworking or making furniture.

  6. SCREWDRIVERS -They would commonly hand make screwdrivers like the ones below, for doing certain projects they were made with wooden handles and like modern day they used metal for the bottom half.

  7. DRILL BITS Blacksmiths would make these bits for woodworkers. They would make them out of metal with groves like we have today.

  8. - Scissors in this time period were not like the scissors we have today. As you can see the handle was way bigger and the cutting blades were shorter. Also sometimes their handles were made of wood. SCISSORS

  9. CARVING in this time period they used chisels, hammers and a carving plate to make carvings. They would also put carvings in to the wall

  10. PAINTING The brushes that people used back then ar4e different the the ones we use today. Our modern day brushes are thicker and the ones back then were thinner and it took longer to finish painting jobs.
