  3. Words! • How many words can you create from: untermenschen

  4. Hitler’s Views • Master race - Aryan • Lesser races – Eastern European • Untermenschen or sub-human – Jews, Gypsies

  5. The persecution of the Jews did not begin immediately. Hitler needed to ensure that he had the support of the German people for his anti-Semitic policies. This was achieved through the use of propaganda and the use of schools.

  6. How did the lives of the German Jews change in the years 1933-1939? The Jewish policy of the Nazi can be divided into 3 parts: January 1933-August 1935 Anti-Jewish propaganda campaign September 1935-December 1937 Laws against the Jews January 1938-December 1939 Violence and eviction

  7. Copy the 3 headings • Write down each of the 3 headings • For each heading draw at least 2 images showing how the Nazis persecuted the Jews • No writing allowed

  8. Swap with your partner • Look at your partner’s drawings and write on each one what it represents
