Extracted from Kitayama cedar scraps (bark) We have successfully developed production technology effectively utilizing natural tree bark, which is currently specified as industrial waste, as a raw material by recycling it, and launched deodorizer Bio-NX, which is manufactured using this technology. This product will contribute to the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions in accordance with the trend for the formation of an environmentally friendly recycling-oriented society, and you will find it useful in your CSR activities. Our newly developed extraction technology can use raw materials from any conifer types (tannin content 9%), although the commercial product was developed using Kyoto Kitayama cedar as the raw material. Initially the extract is dark brown, the color of tannin, but the technology has successfully been improved to finally manufacture a colorless transparent Bio-NX stock solution. Unlike other chemical products, it will decompose in nature after use, without any environmental impact such as endocrine disruptor release. We will further proceed with the concept of material recycling, and simultaneously develop new products that exploit Bio-NX properties, such as stability with slow aging, colorlessness, transparency, and odorlessness, and its applicability as a solvent. This introduction is intended to help you consider adopting Bio-NX as your OEM product.

  3. 2. Two types of Bio-NX (Stock solution A and B) Stock solution A Stock solution B (colorless and transparent) The dark brown stock solution A is manufactured in step A. The odorless and transparent stock solution B is then manufactured in step B, which takes about a month. * Powdered bark residue after extraction also has a deodorizing effect.

(II) Trimethylamine, the source of fish odor, was almost completely eliminated within 30 min. Formaldehyde impregnated into fabric was instantly decomposed by applying Bio-NX to it. Cigarette odor is generally a combination of odors from various substances, mainly isovaleric acid, as well as ammonia, acetaldehyde, acetic acid, etc. Bio-NX can be applied to most of these odors. Odor removal experiment with Bio-NX Kibune • Sample amount: 1g Test container: 1 L conical flask • Test time: 30 min Measurement method: Gas detecting tube, direct method • [Test method] • The above-mentioned Bio-NX Kibune sample was sealed in a test container with predetermined amounts of substances with an odor and the mixture was allowed to react. The sealed mixture was allowed to stand during the test time, and then the residual concentrations in the flask were measured to calculate the deodorizing ratios.   9. 8. Structure of tannin and its chemical deodorization * Not referred to deodorization with chemical agents. Bio-NX is condensed tannin that is a natural polyphenol with bark tannin etc. as the main components, and it is a polymerization product of tannin and catechin. As described below, all of the four major odor substances have [H] basic groups. Ammonia [NH3]: Toilet, excrement and urine Trimethylamine [(CH3)3-N]: Rotten fish Hydrogen sulfide [H2S]: Rotten egg Methylmercaptan [CH3-SH]: Rotten cabbage, rotten onion Bio-NX binds these basic [H] groups to their own basic [N] groups and basic[S] groups to adsorb and neutralize odor substances and remove odors.

Safety and antibacterial effects verified by public agencies Toxicity testAcute oral toxicity test in female mice Test date: April 13, 2007; Test No.207022039-001 Discussion: The sample was subjected to an acute oral toxicity test (limiting test) using female mice. Single oral administration of a sample at 2,000 mg/kg did not result in any abnormality or death during the observation period. Thus, the LD50 value of single oral administration of the sample to female mice is likely to be 2,000 mg/Kg or higher. Healty) Determination of skin irritation: After removal of the patch, the skin was observed for erythema and edema after 1, 24, 48, and 72 hours according to the OECD guideline.
