Goals: • To generate good seed ideas for collective efforts that leverage the experience, knowledge, and influence of the STEM Professional Societies. • To develop a plan for integrating the efforts of the STEM disciplinary societies around new faculty workshops, by creating mechanisms that foster communication and support among faculty who have attended professional development workshops. Bob Hilborn (AAPT) already has approval to use some of his NSF funding for a small follow-up workshop.
