The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) offers academic support and resources to first-generation, historically low-income students in California. Eligible students can apply by submitting necessary documents and can benefit from personal counseling, academic advising, and peer mentoring.

  2. Who is Eligible for EOP? California Residents and AB 540 Eligible Students Undergraduate students with a family history of low income First-time applicants to the CSU system Students who demonstrate potential for success and are motivated to achieve academic goals

  3. How to apply for EOP • Supporting Documents: • EOP Recommendation Forms • Unofficial High School Transcript – showing grades through Junior year Submit CSU Undergraduate Admission Application – at CSU Mentor Submit EOP Application – Online at CSU Mentor or Submit Paper Application

  4. Counseling and Advising Services • Personal Counseling • Class Registration • Housing Information • Major & Career Exploration • Peer Mentoring Undergraduate Academic Advising General Education Advising Assistance with Financial Aid process Class Scheduling

  5. Timelines Accepting EOP Applications: October 1, 2015 – November 30, 2015 Document Deadline: December 14, 2015 • EOP Recommendation Forms • High School Transcript EOP Admission Offers: January 2016 – March 2016
