  2. Once upon a time there were four friends. There was a rabbit named Morgan, a turtle named Randy, a raccoon named Digger, and a St. Bernard named Marcy. They all lived in the forest together. One day the four friends were walking around the pond. They had been walking for three hours. They were so thirsty they could have gulped down a river. After they took a drink they started playing a game of tag. Randy the turtle got tagged by Morgan first, but then they saw a hunter.

  3. They all hid, but Randy the Turtle wasn’t fast enough. The hunter caught him and put him into a sack. The hunter said, “I will make you into turtle soup.” The three friends came out from hiding. They all said, “We have to save Randy.” Then Morgan the Rabbit got an idea. She said, “Digger you will bite open the sack, Marcy you will distract the hunter, and I will help him escape.” We don’t want to get caught. The hunter tied the sack when Marcy snuck up behind him and started barking.

  4. He got so mad he picked up a pebble and threw it at Marcy. Marcy walked away. As soon as she did the hunter picked up the pebble again. Then he saw it get a little bigger. He decided to see how strong it was. The hunter walked over to Randy just as Morgan was coming to get him, and she hid just in time. Morgan didn’t get Randy yet!

  5. The hunter threw the pebble at Randy’s shell to see how strong it was. It put a big chip in Randy’s shell. As soon as the hunter turned around Morgan let Randy free. Randy thanked Morgan. She was just about to help Randy escape, but Randy ran away a little faster then her.

  6. Now they were back to their game of tag. Randy was faster than Marcy. Then they found out that the magic pebble switched their identities. Let’s go get a drink from the river then we will talk about it. They took a drink.

  7. We will finish our game of tag and talk about it. We will find out how to fix it. Now they were back to their game of tag. But it was back to Marcy being faster and Randy being slower. It was the water. It switched them back to normal. So they all lived happily ever after.
