  1. Frederico Fellini on two of his greatest passions – Films and Spirituality Frederico Fellini rose to fame with films including Eight and a Half and La Dolce Vita at the beginning of his career as a comedy writer. His filmmaking journey began with Variety Lights, which Alberto Lattuada co-produced and co-directed. Frederico viewed the filmmaking process as a spiritual experience and still wanted so much to seep into the process that the thin line between imagination and truth was totally blurred out. In his distinctive style, you can see the glimpse of his unique approach that combines fantasy and flamboyant images with a touch of earthiness. Fellini displayed his constant pursuit of art throughout his career. He put on a variety of hats to make his art come alive on screen, from flying to war-stricken Libya in 1942 to working on a script to bleaching his blond hair to act in his film, L'Amore. It is a humble statement to say he is one of the most influential filmmakers of his day. Nothing short of outstanding talent is this Oscar Lifetime Achievement awardee. His films have won Academy Awards nominations not once or twice, but twelve times! Oscars also won four of his motion images.

  2. The tremendous interest of Fellini in parapsychology is not concealed from his audience and peers. In this 1965 interview, he emphasises this by saying, "You have to be a yogi to see your job in a detached way beforehand The meeting of Fellini with LSD, a hallucination substance, became one of the city's hottest talks. For him, his work was no less than a spiritual exploration. He talks about his experience with LSD, the level of absorption in his ventures and his spiritual excursion in this extract from his 1965 interview. "Fellini says remarkably, "It's difficult to go back once you open the door. The original article is published here: https://bit.ly/2VxbPkC
