  1. The SeventyFive Day Interval Daniel 12:11-12; Revelation 19:20; 20:1-6

  2. Daniel 12:11-12 • 11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12 Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.

  3. The Tribulation is made up of two sections of days 1,260, 42 months or 3 ½ years equaling 2,520 days or 7 lunar years for the Tribulation. • Daniel indicates a 1,290 days from the abomination of desolation to the removal of the abomination of desolation. This is an extra 30 days! • Daniel also indicates that believers (Jews and Gentile) and who live to the end of 1,335 days will be blessed. This is an extra 45 days beyond the 1,290. • This gives us 75 extra days past the end of the Tribulation.

  4. The events of the 75 day interval Note: the events described during the 75 day interval have no chronological sequence but are contained within the period.

  5. The removal of the Abomination of Desolation (Daniel 9:27; 12:11-12; Matt. 24:15) • Abomination of desolation is in two phases. • Antichrist declaring himself to be God in the Tribulation Temple. (2 Thess. 2:4) • Setting up and idol of himself in the Temple that appears to be alive. (Rev. 13:14-15)

  6. The removal of the Abomination of Desolation is in two phases: • 1st phase: Jesus kills the Antichrist. (2 Thessalonians 2:8) • His body remains trampled upon and unburied for the birds to eat. (Ezekiel 39:17-20, Rev. 19-17-18) • His soul is in Hades at this point. (Isaiah 14:3-11, 16-21) • 2nd Phase: The idol of the Antichrist is removed after 30 days after the Tribulation. (Dan 12:11)

  7. The Antichrist is cast alive into the Lake of Fire. (Rev. 19:20) • This not a contradiction since he has been killed since scripture talks about the resurrection of the unrighteous. (Isaiah 26:19-20; Daniel 12:1-2; John 5:29; Acts 24:15; Revelation 20:11-15) • Therefore, the Antichrist will be resurrected at this time, then be cast alive into the lake of fire. • This is why Isaiah 14:20 declares that the body of the Antichrist will never see burial.

  8. The False prophet is cast alive into the Lake of Fire. (Rev. 19:20) • The False Prophet will be cast alive into the lake of fire. • For the first thousand years that the Lake of Fire will be inhabited, the Antichrist and the false prophet will be the only inhabitants in the Lake of fire. Resurrection Righteous (1st Resurrection category) Unrighteous (2nd Resurrection category) Jesus (3rd Day) A token Old Testament Saints as First Fruits wave offering (3rd Day) The Church (Rapture) The 2 Witnesses (Mid-point of Tribulation) Old Testament and Tribulation Saints (2nd Coming) The Antichrist and False Prophet (firstfruits of the Second Resurrection--during the 75 day interval) All unbelievers of all time

  9. The Confinement of Satan to the fourth abode (the Abyss). (Rev. 20:1-2) • The Abyss: A temporary confine place for the demonic for the duration of the Millennium. • The place of confinement will be in Babylon and Bozrah. Ezekiel 35:6-9; Jeremiah 49:7-13,17-18; Isaiah 13:20-22; 34:8-15; Jeremiah 50:39-40; Revelation 18:1-2; 19:3 • This confinement will prevent Satan and the fallen angels from deceiving the nations. • He will be released from the abyss after the 1,000 years are over to deceive the nations again and tempt man to lead a rebellion against Christ.

  10. The Judgments of the Gentiles (The Sheep and Goat judgment) (Joel 3:1-3; Matt. 25:31-36) • The timing of the judgment is connected to the restoration of Israel in preparation for the Millennium. • The place of judgment will be the Valley of Jehoshaphat (Kidron Valley on the east side of Jerusalem)

  11. The judgment is to decide the eternal destiny of the mortal Gentiles and who will go into the Millennium. Only the saved go into the Millennium. • The grounds of the judgment is anti-Semitism or pro-Semitism (vv. 2b-3). All these Gentiles will be judged on the basis of their treatment of the Jews (Jesus biological brethren) during the Great Tribulation. • Pro-semitism evidenced they were saved (James 2:20)

  12. Joel mentions three specific sins committed against the Jews by many of these Gentiles. • Each Gentile living at that time will be judged on the basis of his participation in or his refusal to participate in these deeds. • The scattering the Jews (v. 2b). This occurs in the middle of the Tribulation with the commitment of the Abomination of Desolation (Mat. 24:15-22; Rev. 12:6-17). • The dividing the land (v. 2b).

  13. The dividing of the land occurs by Gentiles participating in the Campaign of Armageddon. • They take over a section of the land and once again divide Jerusalem, taking half of it captive (Zech. 12:1-2). • The selling the Jews into slavery (v. 3), also found in Zechariah 12:1-2.

  14. The Results: Unbelievers (Goats) are killed and their soul is sent to Hades to await the final casting into the Lake of Fire after the Great White Throne judgment.

  15. The Resurrection of the Old Testament Saints (Dan 12:2; Isa 26:19) • The Resurrection of the Tribulation Saints (Rev. 20:4) • Both groups are involved in the category of the First Resurrection. (Rev. 20:5-6)

  16. The Resurrection Order (I Corinthians 15:20-23) • 1ST Resurrection 2nd Resurrection • Righteous Unrighteous • Jesus • Wave offering (first fruits) • The Church (Rapture) • The 2 Witnesses • Old Testament/Trib. Saints • Antichrist • Unrighteous at the end of the Millennium

  17. The Marriage Feast of the Lamb • (Isa 25:6-8; Rev. 19:9; Matthew 22:1-14; 25:1-13;) • It takes place somewhere else different from where the marriage ceremony was held • It takes place on earth to begin the Millennium

  18. Application: • Tying up lose ends must be done • Tying up lose ends is not pleasurable • Tying up lose ends means you will have to go back to the issue • Tying up lose ends will bless others
