Lithuania • March 11th: DAY OF RESTORATION OF LITHUANIAN INDEPENDENCE • The Act of Re-establishment of the State of Lithuania was signed on 11 March 1990. • May 7th: STREET MUSICIAN DAY • On this day professional musicians and amateurs go out into the streets of Vilnius and play music, sing live free of charge. • June 23rd: JONINĖS (Rasos), (The Feast of St. John) • The Lithuanian traditional Rasų feast is Midsummer Day, marking the summer solstice.
