How it works • Newton’s Third Law: For every action (i.e. exhaust gases) there is an equal and opposite reaction (i.e. Thrust). • Front Fan sucks cold air into the engine • Secondary fan compresses the air, increasing pressure 8x • Liquid fuel is mixed with air and ignited. (1650 F) • Exhaust exit through turbine blades, which turns the compressor and fan. • Gases exit through exhaust nozzle. (1300 mph) Jet Engines
