  2. The Paper Airplane • The Paper Airplane is a glider created out of paper. The practice of constructing paper is aerogami, the Japanese art of paper folding.

  3. Steps 1. First fold the paper in half the long way. 2. Then unfold the paper and fold the top two corner flaps down. 3. Afterwards, you fold the two flaps down, As shown in the diagram. 4. Once you have this done, fold the two corners inward towards the center. 5. Finally, turn the paper plane sideways and then you fold the paper in half.

  4. Steps • Have fun with your new paper airplane!

  5. Results • Once you have followed all these steps, your paper airplane should glide or fly very smoothly. If you want to create a new design, try experimenting. Any type of airplane should fly with any type of paper.
