  4. Criteria for Community College Faculty Experts in the Study • 8-10 Years of teaching experience • Experience with new methods of teaching • Institution/Peer Recognition

  5. Responses from Faculty Experts • 111 Answers • Answers were rated 1-10 on Importance and Feasibility • The interquartile range was calculated to determine consensus

CONCLUSIONS • Addressing of math anxiety in student achievement • Group of experts currently teaching who could serve as a consortium for new ideas about how to improve student achievement • Good teaching is still the most important factor and there is a world of knowledge about instructional strategies that can be used for staff development
