  4. CQ Researcher • Login: glasgow • Password: glasgow • A good way to find a topic • Mostly current events • Do not print. Most are more than 30 pages. • Includes a pro/con section. • After you have found an article, go to the far right section of the tool bar. Click on CiteNow! for your citation. Make sure you click on MLA for this project.

KYVL.org • Online database of print material • User: glasgow001 • Password: blotty91 • Follow these steps: • Click High School in the Red Box on the left • Click on Ebsco Student Research Center!! • Unclick boxes you aren’t interested in searching. • Click the Full Text box. It is under the search boxes. • When you click on your article, you can cite it by clicking Print. Then choose MLAin the dropdown box to your right. Click Print again. Now click Cancel (because you don’t really want to print). Voila!! Here is your citation.

  6. Destiny Quest • Use this to search our library’s catalogue. • You may use our nonfiction selections, selections from Mary Wood Weldon, or selections from WKU’s library (if you are enrolled in Dual Credit). • Use www.bibme.org to create the citation for your paper source.

Paper Requirements • 1 print source • 3-4 online sources (no Google searches) • 4-5 pages, typed, double spaced • Works Cited page in MLA style (this does not count toward the 4-5 page requirement) • You may use wikipedia as a source for keywords to aid you in your search. • You will want to find more sources than required because you will throw out sources as you begin to write your paper. You will be required to turn in at least eight (8) electronic note cards.
