Said, "I'm old, and You promised me a child. How will You do it? How will it be done?" And remember he went to sleep; a deep sleep fell upon him like every man does:death. And then he noticed, before him went a--a smoking furnace; every sinner deserves to go to hell. He had killed a beast, a heifer, a she goat, and a ram, and a turtledove, and a pigeon. He never separated the turtledove and pigeon. And then this little white Light went before there, and went back and forth between these cut pieces of animal, confirming the covenant with Abraham.

That He was going to take Abraham's Seed, through Isaac down to Jesus, and He took Him up on Calvary, and there He tore Him apart. He tore the Spirit out of Him, away from the body; He raised up the body and set it on the right hand of the Majesty on high, and sent back the Holy Spirit to the church. That's the covenant of God, tore it apart: we got the Spirit; He's got the body. And when It comes back together, the Spirit that was in us joins with Him as Bride. Amen. Not any denomination hooked into It at all. No, sir. It's purely unadulterated, Holy Spirit birth. That's all. That's the covenant.

We may be leading it up to him. But I'm telling you, when he comes, he'll preach the baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ. If you don't believe it, you come around tomorrow night and let me show you through the Scripture. He certainly will. And the circumcision of the heart, and Divine miracles, and workings of powers just like they had on the day of Pentecost, the very original Pentecostal blessing will come right back to that little remnant to take it up yonder.That contract will be just exactly like it was when it was tore off in the first way.

And as they did, they were a people who were not acquainted with our language and our ways, but they were fine laundrymen. And they couldn't write the ticket so you could get your right laundry back. But, the Chinaman, he got himself a bunch of little cards with nothing on it at all. So when you come for your laundry, he would take this card and tear it in a certain way; and hand you one piece, and he kept the other piece. And, now, it's a little better than what we have now, because when you come back to claim what was your own, those two pieces must dovetail. You couldn't impersonate it if you had to. There's no way of doing it.

And if there was not even a Bible or anything to confirm it any more, as deep as I believe it in my heart, there'd have to be a healing fountain somewhere. Before there could be a deep call, there has to be a deep to respond to that call. In other words, I read in the paper sometime ago, where a little boy ate the rubbers off the erasers--erasers off the pencils, rather. And he eat the rubber pedal off of a bicycle. Well, they couldn't understand. They taken him to the doctor, and they sent him to a clinic, and the little fellow's body needed sulfur. Well, if there's something in here calling for sulfur, there's got to be a sulfur to respond to that call. See what I mean? The little boy was taken from the ground where there was sulfur, their bodies was take from the ground. And there was something in here a lacking sulphur and calling for sulfur, so there had to be a sulfur first, the positive, before there could be the negative. And when he called, then they put sulfur in his body, it satisfied.

Did you ever notice how that strait was spelled? S-t-r-a-i-t: water. A "strait" means a"water," spelled like that. S-t-r-a-i-g-h-t. See? Strait, "Water is the way. And that water is the gate, and narrow is the way." What is the water? The gate, the door. See, to open... "In the Name of the Lord Jesus is the way, through the water. Strait is the gate; narrow is the way, that..." Jesus... What did He say down there at the river, about thirty-three years ago? "As John was sent forth," see, "to announce the first coming of Christ, your Message will announce the second Coming." Around the world, and that's what it's done, then the Coming must be at hand.

What did It say, Jeffersonville? What was It at the foot of Spring Street there, when the Courier Journal, I believe it was the Louisville Herald, packed the article of It? It went plumb across the Associated Press, plumb into Canada. Doctor Lee Vayle cut it out of the paper, way up in Canada, in 1933. When I was baptizing my seventeenth person, under this Witness; and you know the rest of the story. And when I was standing there, baptizing the seventeenth person, a Light come down from Heaven, shining down above there, like a Star falling from the Heaven. A Voice said, "As John the Baptist was sent to forerun the first coming of Christ, your Message shall forerun His second Coming, into all the world." This day this Scripture is fulfilled.

Did you know that? Did you ever read the parable of it? There's a man slipped around and got in the other way. Now, in the orient, when they--they was at the wedding supper... We'll pick it up in the morning, at the wedding supper, how that man got in there. We'll try to take that in the morning. I was going to say it now, but let it go. In the morning how that man got into that place from the wedding supper... or, for the wedding supper... All right, "Strait is the gate; narrow is the way." Water is the gate, the entrance unto the Lord God.

He was standing right there with the keys of--of the Kingdom of heaven in his hand, and the Kingdom is the Holy Ghost; hanging on his side the keys to the Kingdom. In other words, the revelation, 'cause Jesus told him. Oh, brother, don't you see that? Peter was the one that was blessed with the revelation of truth. And there he was standing right there, and he heard Jesus say, "Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost."

That, the revelation, the true Bride of Christ will be waiting for that revelation of the Rapture. 66 Now, it is a revelation, for the revelation is faith. You cannot have a revelation without it being faith. Faith is a revelation, because it's something that's revealed to you. Faith is a revelation. Faith is something that has been revealed to you, like it was to Abraham, that could call anything contrary to what had been revealed to him, as though it wasn't so. Now, faith, that's what faith is, is the revelation of God. The Church is built upon a revelation, the whole entire Body.
“THE PHILADELPHIAN AGE” 02 THE.FIRST.SEAL_ JEFF.IN MONDAY_ 63-0318 126-5 {65} And then God takes His messenger with the elect of that age, and lays them away asleep, and then He drops a plague upon them who rejected it: a temporary judgment.And then, after that is over, then he goes on, and they denominate, and bring in denominations, and start off with that man's work like of--of Wesley and all the rest of them, and then it gets all in a scrapple again; and then another mystery comes forth. Then what happens? Another messenger arrives on earth for a church age. See? Then when he arrives, he--the--the trumpet sounds. He declares war. See? And then what happens? Finally then he's caught away. And then when he's laid away, then plague falls destroys them. Spiritual death hits the church and she's gone, that group. Then He goes on to another one. Oh, it's a great plan until it comes to that last angel. Now, he has no certain mystery, but he gathers up all that's been lost in them other ages, all the truths that wasn't truly revealed yet (See?), as the revelation come. Then he reveals those things in his day.
