  1. “Seven Nation Army”The White Stripes Thomas Voldal

  2. In this screenshot you can see basically what the entire video is composed of, which is image inside and image inside and image, etc. depicting Jack and Meg White playing their respective instruments. • The imagery connects to the song because it’s about him going crazy sort of from the fame and the image inside an image moving through each other is kind of weird and distorted like his mind might be. • It says that he has a more creative and abstract view of the world. • The people portray real life because they’re just playing the instruments but the background if definitely not realistic. • It doesn’t really portray a stereotype because it’s just so weird that it can’t fit into any stereotypical image.

  3. In this screenshot besides the never-ending image inside and image there is also an army of skeletons marching out of the screen. • It connects to the song because the song talks about fighting, and also he talks about being driven out of fame by the stress and whatnot in the song. • It says that the artist has emotions related to anger or possibly fear, based on the fact that there’s a small army of skeletons. What emotion it is depends on whether the skeletons are coming for him or from him I guess. • It definitely depicts a fantasy world, based on the fact that there is an undead army of skeletons. However, as usual, the other images of Jack and Meg playing their respective instruments is real. • It really can’t fit into a stereotype because it’s very odd and obscure imagery that doesn’t fit into any genre.

  4. In this screenshot, in addition to the continuing image inside of an image that keeps going in the background there is also a giant red elephant head that looks somewhat murderous as well. • The imagery connects to the song because it shows the emotional ties to anger/frustration, and also the album title is Elephant, so there’s that. • It shows the artists emotions, first of all, but it also shows that he thinks in maybe not exactly a linear or normal fashion, that he makes connections that might be a stretch for most people. • The background of them playing the song is obviously portraying real life, but giant angry red elephants, although a metaphor for real emotions, are not so realistic. • It really isn’t stereotypical at all because it’s just so strange and obscure of a video that you really can’t connect it to any imagery associated with a specific group of people.
