Discussions

Discussions

  • Balance of Year CRR auction

    • Worked well, with exception that bids cleared were significantly below 200,000 limit (due to process for round 2 of CRR auction)

  • Valley Import

    • ERCOT characterized current operation of Valley import as being based on thermal limit of 1100 MW—noting that the stability limit is very close to this level

    • For further discussion

      • Thermal vs stability limit operation -- relationship

      • Which limit was used by ERCOT to establish the SP Cap?

Wms assignment to cmwg from tac

  • Discussion about documenting TO planning criteria (similarities/differences)

  • Differences in how stability limits are studied in planning vs. how used in ops (w/ “margin”)
