  1. Traffic Light Timer: Reduce Accidents In The Intersection Traffic demand has increased rapidly in the last couple of years. Most of the cities face overcrowding issues regularly as junctions are functioning above their capability. When the traffic demand increases the safety level will be decreased. The traffic light timer is important that regulate the traffic passing through the road effectively. The signal system helps to control the traffic flow and they do experience the lost time. The traffic signal timer shows the time remaining digitally for the stoplight indication such as red, yellow, and green. It works well at the fixed-time signal but they don’t practice for an actuated signal at the road. When the time constraint is present, the driver makes the wrong decision at the amber onset that causes an accident. Many mechanisms have been developed to enhance the efficiency and safety level of the traffic flow.

  2. Different types of timers The traffic timer provides the extra estimation of the time remaining until the next phase will be changed. The timer can be classified into two types such as image countdown timer and numerical countdown. Every type has unique features so you can choose the right time based on your requirements. The major difference between the timers is that the image timer is interpreted. The numerical timer display an accurate time left. In the recent survey, the latest countdown timer at the intersection would help to reduce the start-up lost time. The traffic light controller is mounted inside the cabinet. The cabinet consists of a power panel, detector interface panel, and loop detector amplifier, and others. It allows the police to disable signals and other parts easily. The controller helps to reduce the travel time and enhance the traffic handling the road capacity. It encourages the travel in a certain speed limit to come across green light.
