Discovering Christians Who Were Scientists”, and for Hope Bible Church to take pictures of my child/children. As Parent and/or Guardian, I do hereby authorize the treatment by a qualified and licensed medical doctor of minors noted on the reverse side of the registration form in the event of a medical emergency which, in the opinion of the attending physician, may endanger his/her life, cause disfigurement, physical impairment, or undue discomfort if delayed. Discovering Christians Who Were Scientists This program will be for children ages 4 - 12 and is designed to teach the children that no matter what they do they should "do all to the glory of God" (Col. 3:23). We will illustrate this by looking at the lives of some scientists who had faith in God, but also made great scientific discoveries. Throughout the program we will do scientific experiments, crafts and games to reinforce the Bible lesson and branch of science being studied. Bring your children and their friends. Ladies Bible Study The Women’s 2012 Summer Bible Study is Almost Here! We will be studying the book of Proverbs, a God-given resource full of wise general truths to guide us through life. Let’s face it…we can all use help navigating through this crazy world! Included in Proverbs are divine principles that can make us skillful, not in merely living, but in living a life pleasing to God. Our desire should be to look at our world through the grid of God’s truth, and apply these truths in daily life situations. Remember…our horizontal relationships will never be right unless our vertical relationship with God is right. He promises us in Proverbs 2:7 that “He stores up sound wisdom for the upright (vertical); He is a shield to those who walk in integrity”…can’t get any better than that!!!
