  10. Polish figures - losses • Losses HV,MV,LV in 1989: 10,7 TWh (8,5%) • Medium transformation / total transmission and distribution losses: 18,2% • Transformer age distribution: Moje dokumenty/ECI/Prezentacje/supertrafo

  11. Transformer selection • Load profile matching • Above CC’ (HD 428) level • The lowest cumulated costs of transformation as the main criteria • Purchase costs • No load and load losses during lifecycle time (including new capacity avoidance) Moje dokumenty/ECI/Prezentacje/supertrafo

Metering • Continuous power, cos Ф, no load and load losses calculated (model and factory data) or measured ( directly by two –in and out - energy counters or indirectly by Uin, Iin and oil temperature measurement) • Comparing the actual losses with replaced trafo losses computation saving Moje dokumenty/ECI/Prezentacje/supertrafo
