  2. Introduction • The purpose of this training is to integrate technology into the classrooms. The training is designed to connect teachers with new ways to engage the students through technology. The training will introduce website and a variety of apps to enhance the student learning, while giving teachers more tools and resources for lessons. • A survey went out to the staff at Burr Elementary and the data collected from the survey will be used for this presentation • A final evaluation of the training will be sent out at the end of the training. • Staff will have 2 weeks to fill out the evaluation • Dead line is September 4th, 2013

  6. Questionnaire • The questionnaire is available on line at our website • Click here to take questionnaire if you did not do so • Teachers will have their own user names and passwords for the website. • A follow up evaluation will be sent out via email.

  7. What Burr Elementary has • The survey tells us that we have • 30 computers in the computer lab • Each classroom teacher has 4 – 6 computers in their rooms. • Computers in the classrooms • Computer lab • Tablets

Take the next 30 minutes • The next 30 minutes will be for you to go back to your classrooms and get familiar with the websites and apps • Please make a quick lesson on how you will integrate these new resources into your classrooms. • You make work in grade level groups. • Please be back here at 3:30 so that we may share with each other our lessons
