Find & Identify. This set of slides shows the menus and the methods used to “ Find & Identify ” peaks normally found in a wide scan survey spectrum There are two ways to find and identify the peaks, “ Automated ” and “ Manual ”. Both methods are demonstrated.

Find & Identify • This set of slides shows the menus and the methods used to “Find & Identify” peaks normally found in a wide scan survey spectrum • There are two ways to find and identify the peaks, “Automated” and “Manual”. Both methods are demonstrated. • The “Spectral Lines” look-up table which can be customized by the user is used to help identify weak signals and peaks from insulating samples • The “Atom % Composition Table” and some of its capabilities are shown • The ability to generate atom % tables from narrow scan spectra is briefly demonstrated • The ability to modify the RSF values by using an exponential function is shown • The ability to charge compensate (correct) for positive or negative charge states is briefly reviewed
