  2. Think of an office filing system radio zones Radio channels/talkgroups are organizedin this same fashion. Example: you’re asked to find a file on a fire thathappened in Mason. In the office, you’d go to thefiling cabinet that holds all fire records, then pull themanila folder that says “Wayne Twp”. On my radio, I know to go to the zone that holds all agencies’ fire talkgroups, then scroll through until I see “Wayne Twp”. channels
