  • Today, you will write two questions for each student who presents a speech. What do you think are the components of thoughtful, clever questions?

  • Take a few minutes to prepare for your speech (take out the rubric I gave to you: I will be using it to grade your presentation). If you are not presenting today, please be respectful and wait quietly while those who are working prepare.

  • Heads nodding up and down

  • A silent audience

  • Respectful listening

  • Clever questions/debates offered by audience after the speech

    Then you will not need to turn anything in.

  • Whispering to a peer

  • Eyes looking around the room and NOT at the presenter

  • Not prepared with two important questions for speaker

  • Silently signing across the room

    Then you will need to complete graded notes due by the end of the period.
