Learning Objectives As a result of this one-hour seminar, participants will be able to: • Explain why career days for teachers are successful and make a difference in recruiting tomorrow’s workforce • Identify the steps for hosting a career day • Describe ways teachers can engage students in the energy industry

  6. Why bring Educators to the Workplace? • Raise awareness of the energy industry and the available jobs • Attract candidates to our skilled line worker and engineering programs • Help educators understand the math and science that is required in the industry and how to incorporate this into their teaching
