  4. Advantages • Iterations allow for analysis and improvement before software is released to public/customer • Decent level of communication to everyone involved on every phase • Combines positive aspects of multiple over software development methods

  5. Disadvantages • Can Be inefficient in large organizations and certain types of projects • Can be time consuming if a large number of iterations are made • Criticized as a “management fad”
