Calories. By Rachel Kish. Do you even know what a calorie is? Calories measure energy, heat energy in particular. One calorie is the energy you need to heat one gram of water by one degree Celsius. When you eat more calories than you can use, your body will store them as fat.

  2. Do you even know what a calorie is? • Calories measure energy, heat energy in particular. • One calorie is the energy you need to heat one gram of water by one degree Celsius. • When you eat more calories than you can use, your body will store them as fat. • This fat is a pain.

  4. Some A & W for lunch? • Mozza Burger : • 560 calories • Fries: • 400 calories • Root Beer: • 488 calories • TOTAL : 1448 CALORIES!

  8. I took a few guesses… Mr. Brannon: • Height : 6 feet 2 inches • Weight : 190 pounds • Active : 3 times a week

  9. 2152 is the number of calories that Mr. Brannon should consume in a day • 3246 is 1094 calories OVER that amount • A person who is active twice a day – 3094 calories • Mr. Brannon's fast food diet exceeds this amount by 152 calories. • You could eat like this if • You had a highly physical job • Were physically active at least once a day
