  4. Offsite Activity • Water Activities • Canoeing, • Kayaking • Sailing, • Windsurfing • Water Obstacle course • Water and Beach Games

  5. Offsite Activity • City ‘Cybertrek’ • Patrols undertake a series of activities visiting icon locations in the Sydney CBD. • Patrols will visit pods of computers to learn their next step of their mission and gain points in the activities.

  6. Offsite Activity • Endurance • Abseiling • Kite Making • Escape from Cataract • Skirmish • Milk Crate Stacking • Camp courage • First Aid • Raft building • Pillow pumble

  7. Offsite Activity • Jamberoo Recreation Park • Catch a wave at Outback Bay • Ride the mountain toboggan, • Slip down surf hill and the giant water Slide • Try the Taipan water thrill ride.

  8. Adventurous Activities (half day each) • Challenge Valley • Waterslide and any 2 of • Archery or Laser Skirmish • BMX Bikes • Abseiling • Climbing Wall • High Ropes • Low Ropes • Flying Fox • Caves

  9. Cirque du Scout • Activities include • Learn to Juggle • Trampoline Skills • Games including Crockery Smashing • Dunking Chairs • Graffiti Wall • Slippery Pole • Tight rope • Giant Puzzle • Learn to Unicycle • Hurdy Gurdy ride

Global Village • Community – Try some international cooking • Environment – plant a tree, learn about the environment • Disabilities – Experience life as a para scout, try wheelchair basketball, treasure hunt & obstacle course • Health – Learn about DNA, substance abuse, endurance and diet • Technology – make movies, digital imaging, GPS

  11. Brownsea Island • Pioneering: activities like Basket Ball Tripods, Ballista, building Racing carts & Chariots • Maps and Compass • Tracking • First Aid Incidents • Rope Making • Backwoods Cooking • Estimation Games

  12. Skills • Learn how to fix a Car • Turn wood • Make an airplane • Build contribute to the Jamboree Railway • Make a torch

  13. Night Activities • Rock Night • Jamboree Idol • Movies • Circus • Comedy night • Electronic Games • All Australian Gang Show • Dance Party

Intro of leaders and their jobs • Contingent newsletters and Troop newsletters • Off site activity, onsite activities, market day • Security and personal belongings – name everything, old clothes, don’t bring items including phones • Planning – theme nights, gateway, badge design • Contingent fee will supply – bag, backpack, .... etc • Spending money • Scout jobs – cooking, cleaning, clothes washing, ironing, camp service • Phoning home options • Uniform – beige shorts • Additional costs – transport fee, troop shirt/badges • Welfare – homesickness, female preparation, good behaviour (L&P), toilet habits, water, sunscreen, hats • Visitors Day
