He was on the full time faculty at Cornell University Medical at New York Presbyterian Hospital from 1990 until 1999 and the Director of the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery there until 1999. Dr. Guida’s Training Dr. Guida began his training at the University of Steubenville, Ohio, where he received a B.S., Summa Cum Laude, in Biology. Dr. Guida earned his medical degree at Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He served his residencies in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for Internal Medicine at the Lankanau Hospital and for General Surgery at the Graduate Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He completed a residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in New York City. Dr. Guida has in-depth experience in reconstructive surgery following removal of facial tumors from Mohs’ surgery for skin cancer, facial trauma, and scar revisions.
