  2. Objectives • To secure a funding base for EAPN • To diversify our funding base • Financial support for dev of EAPN (particularly Nat Networks) • Support participation of PeP

  4. Next Steps • Public Funding • Defend principle of Core Funding – EASI programme • Explore other possibilities, examples LLL programe, DG Research • Sponsorship Events • Make a decision re R4R 2014 • Explore possibilities of other events

  5. Next Steps • Major Donors • Dev a principles paper • Build on previous contacts with Foundations to explore options • Individual Donors • Launch a pre C’mas individual donor appeal

Next Steps • Project Approach (EMIN – Drivers) • Ensure we deliver on EMIN and Drivers (administrative and content) • Expand EMIN to the additional 26 (Germany, Austria, Sweden , Finland and Lithuania) • Need a full reflection with Exco on this approach • A separate EAPN Social Enterprise? • Clear conditions required for delivering on projects

Next Steps • EAPN Fund • Follow up Grants that have been made from the Fund • Follow up re NN Solidarity Fund and EO Solidarity Fund • Fund Visibility • Use materials now available (Newsletter, Prize Pub) • Have evaluation with Exco of EAPN Prize first round and prepare for second round of Prize (call autumn 2014 - Prize Spring 2015)

Next Steps • Need to package areas from the work that EAPN wants to do to be able to present as viable projects for Funding support • Learning Forum re package as a ‘School for Activists in the fight against Poverty’ • Training Materials (Contributing to transparency in EU decision making processes) • Structural Funs Technical Assistance Project (Making EU Funds work for Poverty Eradication)
