  3. When you’re looking to buy a new printer, it can be tough to find something that works for you. It’s important to make an educated decision.  There are a lot of different factors to consider when buying a new printer for your company. What size is your company? What volume of papers do you print? Do you need a lightweight or heavy-duty device? Knowing the details behind each of these factors is key to getting the best printer for you.

  4. Printer Types These days, the three main types of printers are inkjet printers, laser printers, and photo printers. Each printer type works a little bit differently. Inkjet Printers Inkjet printers are the perfect solution for companies that need to print a variety of different document types. For companies who print a lot of charts and graphs, an inkjet printer will do a great job.  They also print these types of documents at a great speed and are usually faster than other printer types. Laser Printers Laser printers are much lower cost than inkjet printers. They print only in monochrome colors, making the ink much more affordable.  If your business does not typically have to print colored documents, a laser printer is an option that can work well for you. You can buy color laser printers, but the cost will be much higher than a regular laser printer.

  5. Think About Speed As you look for the perfect printer, think carefully about how much speed you need for your office.  If your company only prints a few items a day, you don’t need a paper-pushing powerhouse. If you print something every three minutes, on the other hand, getting a high-speed printer isn’t a bad idea.  One way of thinking about how much speed you’ll need is to think about many people use the printer each day. Even if you personally don’t need a high speed printer, if many people are using the printer throughout the day you will need a higher speed device. Size Matters It may seem like a no-brainer to buy an industrial size printer for an office setting, but that might not be what you need.  Think carefully about your space. Do you have room for a large format printer? Do you have a lot of employees?
