This area hadbeeninhabitedevenbeforeRomewasfounded! • The hillsweseefrom a distance are oldvolcanoes, whosecalderashavegotfilled up withrain water and havebecomelakes: Lake Albano, Lake Nemi, Lake Bracciano wereallformervolcanoes.
