  3. What makes up a culture? • Language • Food • Music • Housing • Religion • dance

  4. How people greet each other in some cultures.

  5. Diversity – many kinds • Ethnic diversity – variety of cultures • Problems exist over people of one culture living with people of another culture because one is not accepted because of their differences.

  6. Prejudices: prejudging because of differences • Negative comments • Thinking your culture better than another • Not accepting those that look differently or speak differently than you • Hurting others simply because of their differences.

  7. The world is getting smaller because of easy travel between countries around the world. • We must learn to accept and embrace other cultures in order for the people of the world to live together.
