Improved Resource Efficiencies: University of Plymouth Experience • Implementing ISO 14001 Accreditation • 60% Reduction in water consumption per student saving £1.6M on an investment of £40,000 over 10years – 50% saving PA on current rates. • By installing automated inverter controls on air circulation fans for buildings (£4,500 cost) reduced the energy consumption for this equipment, saving the university £11,000 PA on electricity bills!
