  1. How to deliver PowerPoint presentations Delivery using 5-step approach: Much easier with this approach; you’ll be prepared: • Transitioning: - from main message to agenda: (“Having said that …, today we’ll discuss...”); - from agenda section to section: (“Having discussed such-and-such, let’s now move on to such-and-such…”) • Discussing a slide: - mention the bullet points and briefly state dash points - say names of categories, then their sub-points • Body language and eye contact—do what’s comfortable for you; otherwise, you’ll be distracted and won’t appear genuine; substance is much more important than style

  2. How to deliver PowerPoint presentations • Preparing for questions: Thanks to Steps 1 and 2, you’ll be ready for 80-90% of queries you’d receive. And as a result, you’ll be confident when you reply. Use Steps 1, 2, and 3 to answer. • Preparing for the unexpected: If - Your time is cut to just 5 minutes: You can still deliver your main message, agenda, and perhaps one or two of your key points - Someone interrupts rudely: Handle and quickly get back to your presentation - Someone leaves/falls asleep: Just keep going; this person may have a problem or be ill
