What does COT do ?to welcome, inform, counsel • For students • _ Reception desk (student-tutors) • _ Consulting meetings with expert • _ Services for students with tutors and specialists • _ Open doors events (apertamente per te) • _ Cultural activities (Unifestival, Musicultura) • For secondary schools teacher • _ Library • _ Publications • _ Periodical meetings and round tables

What does COT do?accoglie, informa, orienta For secondary schools _Unimc at school – info about courses at UNIMC, classes on specific topics, stands, consulting meetings (indidually and/or in group) _ Participation to academic classes _ Guided tours to Faculties and University sites (library, Laboratories, etc.) _ Meetings with secondary teachers _ Meetings with parents (at School) _ Events (Salone dell’orientamento)

Whatdoes COT do?the projects _ Progetto ponte – in collaboration with the regional Scholastic Office and the other 3 University in the Marche Region _ All information to all: a network for accessibility –project proposed at national level (Ministery for Equal Opportunity) _To welcome, afford and integrate: a guidelines proposal (aimed to NON-EU students)

Actions and services for disabled students • Front office • _ Twice a week a tutor is available to receive requests and give information • Physical supportthrough • _ Part-time students (as tutors - same course) • _ Health workers for personal assistance • _ Operators to accompany and drive (from home to the university)

Actions and services for disabled students • Specialized tutoring • _ Selected tutors, trained for supporting students in studying and thesis preparation_ Academic teacher: teaching support and relations with faculty for a better integration • Expert guidance counseling • _ Expert staff to afford the initial phase of studies and to support student reflection on University education • _ Administration of three interviews: with the student, family, academic teachers, specialized tutors, and any other operator who follows the student

Actions and services for disabled students • Organizational support • _ Specialized tutors manage and organize the relationships between students, teachers, and teaching facilities • Interpreting LIS • _ For deaf students only – interpreters for the Italian Sign Language (LIS) are available • Assistive technology • _ Equipped workstations for deaf and blind students • _ Possibility of purchasing specific materials • Personalized exams • _ Personalized exams agreed with the teacher

Actions and services for disabled students • International mobility • _ Contributions to supplement costs of assistance to students with physical disabilities (in collaboration with the Center for International Relations - CRI) • Tuition exemption • _ Total exemption (66% invalidity needed) • _ Partial exemption (between 55% and 65% needed) • Special equipped rooms • _ Equipped free residences (in collaboration with ERSU) • Costumer Satisfaction survey • _ Annual survey to evaluate all actions and services
