Conference to Conference Activity • Worked with Conference team to: • Generate the Sponsorship prospectus and clarify the sponsorship value propositions • Generate a multimedia element to the conference • Continue to develop the “training track” concept and value • Other inputs and support as needed • Worked with the Website team to: • Clarify the values, impact and opportunity for web presence • Provided early requirements and some comparative evaluations to explore what was possible International System Safety Society

C to C Activity continued • Worked with the Virtual Chapter to: • Continue to distill the 4 major efforts • An overarching standard • A well defined system safety curriculum for engineers/professionals • Processes to validate the training and capability of system safety engineers/professionals/organization • A means to prepare all engineers to work with system safety engineers/professionals through adapting their current class and course content to include an exposure to system safety diffused into their studies. • Joined the American Society of Association Executives International System Safety Society

  4. Exploring revenue stream diversification Currently our significant revenue items are Conference and Membership dues But what else might we do? Way Forward International System Safety Society

Exploring methods to expand our influence Way Forward • Right now: • Conference • Journal • Membership • Chapters • Web presence and social media • Potential additions: • Secondary publication of journal articles in other trade pubs • Letters from the president published externally (WSJ,WP,LAT, Other trade pubs. • System Safety Speakers Board International System Safety Society
