Kraznir. LO: to learn what a prologue is : to create a prologue for our own Kraznir story. Prologues. Prologues are the beginnings of stories and plays. They tell us what is going to happen in the story, but leave a cliffhanger to get us hooked on the story before we read it.

  1. Kraznir LO: to learn what a prologue is : to create a prologue for our own Kraznir story

  2. Prologues • Prologues are the beginnings of stories and plays. • They tell us what is going to happen in the story, but leave a cliffhanger to get us hooked on the story before we read it. • Look at the opening to the play ‘Blood Brothers’: the whole story is told in twelve lines.

Prologue to ‘Blood Brothers’ • "So did you hear the story of the Johnston Twins,As like each other as two new pins,Of one womb born, on the self-same day,How one was kept, and one given away?Did you ever hear tell of that young motherWho stood and watched brother parted from brother;Who saw her children wrenched apart, That woman, with a stone in place of a heart?Then bring her on, come let’s seeThe author of such cruelty.And judge for ourselves this terrible sin.Bring on the mother, let the story begin.

Your Prologue • You should introduce the situation – rumours about Kraznir’s attack. • How you chose your team, was it chosen by you or the Queen of Slimsil? • Introduce yourself • Describe yourself and explain why you have been chosen as the leader. • Describe the members of the team LO: to write a prologue for Kraznir, focusing on AF1: interesting overall piece AF3: organise paragraphs effectively.   8. Read this passage and try to improve it. • Doughty is a strong man he should be king of all men he is that strong. The other members of my team our Touchfire the Wizard. He is a tall stringy man but very nice he is well respected. Littlejohn is a valuable addition as he is very quick but he needs to get his sleep so it will be interesting to see how he handles the pressure.
