Objectives • To encourage investments in green technology industries and the adoption of green technology by private sectors. • To encourage companies to purchase assets that have been verified as green technology assets by MGTC and these assets are listed under MyHIJAUDirectory. • Widening the coverage across various priority green technology industries and supporting services activities. • Facilitate the nation journey to reduce 40% carbon emission by 2020. Activities Planned (For next reporting period) • Project Assessment Criteria for the Green Investment Tax Allowance (GITA) Project to be completed by 15th of June • Announcement and Press Release on GITA/GITE (pending date of announcement from MIDA).
