  1. HOW TO BECOME A FREQUENTLYBAPTIZINGCHURCHIN LESS THAN 12 MONTHS Pat Pajak, AED of Evangelism

  2. REACH, BAPTIZE AND DISCIPLE MORE THIS YEAR THAN EVER BEFORE!

  3. The Evangelism Ministries of the IBSA is providing this strategy to help your church reach more people with the gospel than ever before. The big question seems to be how can any size church in their particular location be more evangelistically fruitful? I'd like to suggest that anything that a church does evangelistically will fall into one of six“strategies.”While the implementation, timing, and activities are rarely the same in terms of specific methodology, they always – 100% of the time – reinforce these six strategies.

  4. Prayer Evangelism: Teaching your church how to pray for lost people by name greatly enhances their passion for and confidence in sharing the gospel. This powerful strategy can be woven into most every ministry of your church.Churches that equip their members to pray for the lost are seeing their members become confident and excited to share the gospel.

  5. Team Evangelism: This strategy is about having a well organized, scheduled outreach. Team evangelism is best built upon your existing Sunday School/Small Group ministry. Why? These are existing groups already organized. Be smart in choosing the frequency and the weekday, then take away all the excuses your church family would give for not being able to attend.

  6. Personal Evangelism: LifeWay reports that 92% of evangelical believers will not share the gospel with a lost person in a 12-month period. There are several reasons, but the fact is they are fearful of the response they will receive or that they don’t know what to say. Teaching members how to share the gospel will help your church members look for opportunities to begin Gospel Conversations.

  7. Sunday Morning Evangelism: The Sunday morning experience is the primary front door through which most guests enter. Research reveals that first-time guests decide within six to eight minutes of driving on the property whether or not they will ever return. Evangelistically successful churches have implemented the strategy of "being ready for company."This goal begins by making guests feel welcome.

  8. Ministry Evangelism: Ministry or servant evangelism meets the needs of people in your community. From benevolence such as a food pantry or clothes closet to Disaster Relief. If you have ministries like these in place, make sure they are being intentionally evangelistic. Evangelism can only happen when these 3 things are true: Unsaved people must be present, The gospel must clearly be presented, and An opportunity to respond must be given.

  9. Event Evangelism:Churches that host evangelistic revivals or events baptize 27% more new believers than the churches that do not. There is currently a strong resurgence of evangelistic events by churches and they are seeing tremendous results. Events like Car Shows, Golf Outings, Wild Game Dinners, VBS, Block Parties, Concerts, Men's and Women's Conferences, etc., provide numerous opportunities for having Gospel Conversations.

  10. In Conclusion: Top-baptizing churches, regardless of size or community, have implemented many if not all six of these strategies into their ministry. They set baptismal goals and make these strategies their top priorities when it comes to calendar planning and budgeting. Simply stated, they want to reach as many people in their communities with the gospel as possible.

  11. Decide now how your church can implement these six strategies and make this the greatest outreach year in your church's history.
