  1. We’re just ordinary people But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Matt 6.33

  2. "When they were younger, we took both our boys to different sports - they were lively lads, so we were trying to keep them out of mischief. We were just an ordinary family, and he was an ordinary boy doing ordinary things. He's not changed at all. He's just Jason. “ Jason Kenny’s Mum after his 6th Gold.

  3. The Bible says in Hebrews 11:3 that “faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” How do you account for it? How do you account for this extraordinary faith among such ordinary people? “One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.” Luke 16

  4. Ordinary - past and present…. Christianity: the extraordinary life of ordinary people who happen to love Jesus Christ in sincerity, having faith and believing in the face of anything and everything that He is their Savior. Christians are not kites; we don’t live in the clouds. When this talk is over, we still have a garden to mow and bills to pay—a life on earth to which God has appointed us and to which we must return. We don’t need to project an image, we just need to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit in us…

  5. Ordinary – tiny, mundane, quiet • Tiny as a mustard seed, growing for God Matt 13.31 • Meaningless/ mundane…or is it? “Great opportunities often disguise themselves in small tasks” • God is in the whisper…. 1 Kings 19 “He’s in the quiet, ordinary moments of life “

  6. Ordinary – ‘Little’ John & ‘have a go’ Helene

  7. Ordinary – are we missing it and why? • Chasing the big and missing the small. • Fear of People, Embrassment, Knowledge, Unbelief How do we change?? • Listen for God’s voice, see yourself diffrently in God’s eyes… • Don’t look for great tasks to do for God. Just do the not-so-great stuff, and God will assign you whatever he wants you to do.  • Get up, look around and do it • Ask God to gives us opportunties

  8. Eph 1v11 – message It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ,.. he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone.. “One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much.” Luke 16 esv
