The Passover. The Seder is the meal that Jews eat during this festival to remind them what happened at Passover. The parsley dipped in salt water represents the tears of the Israelites when they were slaves in Egypt.

  2. The Seder is the meal that Jews eat during this festival to remind them what happened at Passover.

  3. The parsley dipped in salt water represents the tears of the Israelites when they were slaves in Egypt.

  4. The horseradish reminds us of the bitter life that the Israelites had in Egypt.

  5. The charoset reminds us of the mortar which the Israelites had to mix to make buildings.

  6. CHAROSET We grated apple and mixed this with lemon juice for our Charoset

  7. We crushed walnuts to add to the apple.

  8. We used honey to add some sweetness

  9. We stirred the mixture together.

  10. Here we are enjoying the Charoset from our Seder meal.
