Invisible Children Club What is Invisible Children Inc? “Invisible Children is a social, political, and global movement that uses the power of a story to change lives and raise public awareness in an attempt to spur youth into action.” www.invisiblechildren.com Fact: “It is estimated that nearly 25,000 children have been kidnapped by the LRA since 1987 for use as soldiers, porters, and sex slaves. They prey on children because children are more docile than adults and its easier to brainwash and train them to kill.” www.worldvision.org Club’s Mission: To create school awareness regarding the plight of Ugandan child soldiers and to fundraise money to support Invisible Children Inc.

  2. JOIN the Invisible Children Club Meetings: Every other Monday at lunch, alternating between rooms 401 and 215 Sponsors: Mrs. Shipman (Rm 215) and Ms. George (Rm 401) Come and help make a difference.
