ABOUT THE EVENT Celebrating oneness by spreading the teachings of love, equality, peace and brotherhood on occasion of the 550th Illumination Anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism. The event will showcase Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s life and the relevance of his teachings in the modern world.

  3. ABOUT US –“Oneness –A Light for Humanity” is based on Guru Nanak’s teachings of love, peace, equality and universal brotherhood. Guru Nanak Dev Ji was born in November 1469 in Talwandi, Punjab, India (now known as Nankana Sahib, Punjab, Pakistan). He has been a strong advocate of three main principles: Naam Japna (Meditation in the name of God), Vand Chakna (Always share) and Kirat Karna (Honest Living). This Event will showcase how these principles have enlightened generations since the 15th century and how it will continue to uplift and influence the spiritual well-being of our society.
