MODULE 2: GAME-BASED DEVELOPMENT • Get them playing and then learn to play better (link strokes to mobility & play) • Progressive Tennis Process: • Micro-tennis (foam balls) • ½ Court Red Tennis (foam or felt balls) • ¾ Court Orange Tennis (low-compression) • Full Court Green (transition balls)

  7. MODULE 2: GAME-BASED DEVELOPMENT Play Tennis Canada rating system • Levels 1.0-7.0 • Top Open player = 4.0-4.5 • Top Quad player 3.5 • Beginner wheelchair = .1/.5/1.0 • Integration vs specialty programs

  10. MODULE 5: TACTICAL LESSON PLANNING Singles • Rally Program Keep the ball in play • Reception Program Maintain consistency when receiving challenging balls • Projection Program Place the ball with intention Doubles • Two back positioning (basic) • One up/One back positioning (advanced)
